Business Development Manager - R&D Tax

Overview:We are working with a leading R&D tax consultancy firm seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, where you will help drive business development and growth in the R&D tax sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development:Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities within the R&D tax space.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, guiding them through the R&D tax process.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed personal sales targets by securing new business and driving revenue growth.
  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive the best possible service and results.
  • Reporting: Regularly track and report on sales performance and pipeline development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the R&D tax, financial services, or professional services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the R&D tax credit system and how it benefits businesses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven individual who thrives in a target-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively, with occasional travel to the office for meetings and training.
