We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the subcontract machining and metal finishing divisions. This is a newly created role with immense potential to shape the future of our business. You will work closely with machine shop, production, and marketing teams to expand existing accounts and establish new customer relationships.

Business Development Manager - Key Responsibilities - Sales Manager, Machining, Subcontract, CNC, Powder Coating

  • Business Development: Lead the expansion of existing accounts and secure new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams on leads, estimates, quotes, proposals, and bids.

Business Development Manager - What We’re Looking For - Sales Manager, Machining, Subcontract, CNC, Powder Coating

  • Proven engineering background (apprenticeship, academic, or time-served).
  • Proven experience in engineering/manufacturing/estimating/business development.
  • Familiarity with CNC machining/manufacturing and CAD/engineering drawings.
  • Strong software skills (Microsoft Office, social media).
  • Ability to travel across the UK and occasionally to our manufacturing sites.
