Job Overview:

A leading supplier of industrial springs and fastenings, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business and deliver profitable revenue growth. This role is ideal for an experienced salesperson with a proven track record in selling industrial components, particularly to the automotive, aerospace, or construction industries.

You will receive:

  • Competative basic salary of £45,000
  • Generous commission structure with an OTE of £55,000 in year one

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Drive revenue growth by identifying potential customers, targeting markets, generating new sales leads, and maintaining existing accounts to expand the company's market presence.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular business and management reports, including forecasting, on key sales activities and market performance.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in field sales, particularly in selling industrial springs, fastenings, or components to the automotive, aerospace, or construction sectors.
  • Proven Sales Record: A demonstrable track record of converting sales leads into orders and delivering consistent revenue growth.
  • Engineering Background (Preferred): Ideally, a solid engineering background to support sales activities, although a strong sales focus is essential.
  • Commercially Astute: Ability to recognize business opportunities, negotiate deals, and secure profitable contracts.
  • Reporting Skills: Competent in preparing and delivering detailed business reports, including sales forecasting and key activity insights.
