The Role of the Business Development Manager • Tasked with growing the IIoT and Solution Sales business.• This is a high-profile role that will be responsible for actively growing the IIoT software, SaaS and related controller solutions.• Identifying new business and generating sales by helping customers drive efficiencies - improving machine availability, maintain process quality and optimise energy consumption etc...• Regular travel and overnight stays within the UK plus occasional international travel will be required.• An industry sector with huge potential makes this a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your career with a worldclass employer.

The Ideal Person for the Business Development Manager• Ideally educated to a minimum of ONC/HNC standard• You should possess a strong knowledge of IIoT hardware and software solutions• A knowledge of some of the following would also be preferred: PLC’s, HMI’s, Telematics, SaaS, SAP, IO-Link, Industrial networking, Sensors, Process instrumentation, Condition monitoring, Automation.• Ideally 2-3 years sales experience selling to the UK manufacturing industry and OEM’s.
