My client is an industry recognised company that specialise in the sales and support of hydraulic equipment and components. Due to working with premium brands and being able to provide technical support they can provide a fantastic experience for clients. Due to an exciting period of growth, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team working as an integral part to their sales team covering the Midlands. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for territory growth through account management and sourcing new business working across various sectors in the fluid power industry.
Business Development Manager
Birmingham (Covering the Midlands area)
£40,000 - £45,000 Basic DOE, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, company car and bonus structure.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Identify, engage and develop new accounts.
- Develop existing accounts and business opportunities.
- Resolve issues and ensure highest quality service is provided.
- Act as 1st point of contact for clients.
- Provide sound technical support.
- Always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Complete reports on time.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Proven experience working in a similar role.
- Mechanical or Hydraulic experience.
- Knowledge of hydraulic components and hoses beneficial.
- Confident working within CRM systems.
- Able to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent listening and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Able to work to deadlines under pressure.
- Confident and enthusiastic.
- Comfortable on various Microsoft programs.
