Business Development Manager / Renewable Energy EquipmentMidlands/Northern England£40k basic + Bonus, Company Car and BenefitsThe Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading distribution partner of Renewable Energy Equipment, to be based Midlands or Northern England.Job Overview:As the Business Development manager based in the Midands or Northern England area, you will be responsible for prospecting new business revenue, with new and existing accounts.Some of your duties will include:As a BDM your responsibilities will include the account management and business development of an established customer base based in the UK as well as pro-actively looking for new business in the various sectors we operate in.You will be expected to spend 3-4 days every week on customer visits selling all the benefits of the company, its products & services.To build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers and proactively identify new sales opportunities in conjunction with our leading manufacturers.To collaborate fully with the company's internal Sales and Operations Team.What do you need to succeed?At least 3 years of experience as an Account Manager or External sales would be preferred but not essentialHave a technical skill in electronics/power engineering is preferred but not essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent negotiation and customer service skillsStrong work ethic and good planning and organisational skillsCommercially focused on delivering Revenue and margin targets
