Location: Birmingham

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 20 – 37.5 per week

Type: Permanent

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

 

We are hiring for a Business Sales Executive who is experienced in outbound B2B sales and lead generation in the Birmingham area. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for generating new leads and maximizing the potential of each connection.

 

Duties of a Business Sales Executive

In this role, you will be working in the Sales Team to drive new business opportunities. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

Calling decision-makers and influencers through outbound calls to identify new business sales opportunities.

Maintaining and updating the prospect database daily to ensure accuracy.

Setting and hitting sales targets to meet business goals.

Acting with due care, skill, and diligence at all times.

Staying updated on current industry trends.

Adhering to company policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook.

Responding to client queries promptly and ensuring communications are recorded in the back-office system.

Preparing and managing a sales call schedule with set goals.

Meeting with potential clients and participating in site visits.

 

Skills and experience of a Business Sales Executive

As a Business Sales Executive, you should have experience with:

Making a high volume of outbound calls to B2B clients.

Managing a prospect database and maintaining accurate records.

Meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Excellent communication skills over the phone and in writing.

The ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.

Resilience, with the ability to handle rejection.

 

It would be beneficial for the Business Sales Executive role if you also had:

Previous experience in the security industry (desirable).

A drive to continue learning and developing within the role.
