Compass UK&I is a leading contract catering company dedicated to creating innovative and user-centric digital solutions.It’s an exciting time to join our digital team as we have developed an award-winning Omni Channel Digital Solution for food and drink ordering such as apps, kiosks and kitchen management systems and are at the forefront of deploying emerging technologies such as frictionless, AI tray scanning and robotics.

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager who can implement digital product management methodologies to help identify and develop new digital solutions and ensure both business and customer needs are met.

The Digital Product Manager role will be accountable for development and delivery of the digital vision and strategy across all Compass sectors. Employing a range of product management methodologies to define and manage a prioritised roadmap, ensuring alignment to business vision & goals through stakeholder engagement and delivering a robust and relevant set of digital products. A large part of this role will be working with technology partners to ensure their products meet the needs of Compass UK&I.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to form a complete view of business and customer requirements
  • Define and manage the product roadmap, utilising the technology available both within Compass and supplied by our technology partners
  • Develop strategies that align to Compass UK digital objectives and implement these strategies via the product roadmap
  • Be the main UK contact for new digital technology partners
  • Perform market research to identify new technologies and ensure Compass has the right partners in place
  • Onboard new suppliers, taking them through a defined set of due diligence assessments and supporting the legal team as a subject matter expert when contracts are drawn up
  • Scope, document and submit digital strategy demand requests to the solution architect team for development and build
  • Take new solutions through the steps of identification, onboarding, trialling, stabilising and scaling
  • Manage the process of taking technology from new to BAU
  • Support new Sales and Retention bids by demonstrating the digital product both remotely and in person
  • Develop reports to monitor product health, ensuring KPIs are being met
  • Take responsibility for managing and evaluating PoC technology and make recommendations for inclusion into product portfolio
  • Bring to life the digital strategy with ‘art of the possible’ showcases (mobile or fixed)
  • Promote and market the digital strategy within Compass UK&I using Workplace and other relevant mediums
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, data teams and 3rd parties to launch new products/features - maximising re-use across Compass Sectors

Experience required:

  • Product management experience with technology solutions and innovation

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in product lifecycle management
  • Previous vendor management experience ideally in a D&T environment or similar technology related role
  • Project delivery experience desirable
  • Business analysis skills desirable
