A respected market leader within the Commercial Interiors sector, who have experienced rapid growth over the last 10 years are looking to strengthen their team with the key recruitment of an End User specialist within the Retail, Grocery Sector.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced End User specialist to take on the challenge of penetrating various new accounts and managing existing End User accounts with Grocery Retailers and High Street stores.

As the fast-growing construction market evolves at pace, your role will be to keep at the forefront of the market and new projects - spotting and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with existing products and customers; and proactively creating openings to sell in products and bring new customers on board.

You’ll have all the tools to do the job: the broadest product range, great delivery support and top-class customer service. You’ll need to leverage your potential through your customer relationship building skills, tenacity and drive to build and grow the area.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop a customer list across the UK, creating a specific business plan to proactively identify and target growth opportunities within the End User sector.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential supermarkets and retail property buyers at all levels of the customer hierarchy, in order to provide support and develop awareness of the company’s products and services.
  • Sell and influence the sale of products and services within margin guidelines. Maximise the sales of all products across different applications (by market sector) to ensure the highest margin opportunity can be achieved whilst ensuring billings targets are reached or exceeded.
  • Identify, record, monitor and convert project opportunities within the marketplace to maintain and improve market share.
  • Identify market and competitor information and feed it back to the business in order to ensure market requirements and competitor developments are incorporated into marketing and product plans.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

We’re looking for a sales professional who shares our passion for the floor covering sector; its products and trends. You’ll need to have the tenacity, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to take this amazing brand and build both excitement and commitment amongst customers.

Being out on the road means you’ll need to be self-reliant and self-motivated, but we’d like you to be a great team player too! We have a strong team ethos and encourage all colleagues to work together to provide the best experience for our customers.

About You:

We’re looking for a proven Sales professional who has experience within the Supermarket and High Street Retail sector. You will have experience managing these accounts ideally within the Flooring Sector or alternatively Ceramic tiles or another Commercial Interiors product.

You’ll need to be organised, structured and conscientious in how you approach your business planning, customer visits, reporting and follow-up activity.
