Location: Birmingham
Salary: up to £70,000 (DOE) + bonus scheme
Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid in office 4 days per week
Start date: April - July 2025
Working closely with the wider marketing, content, and customer service functions, you will be responsible for developing a compelling brand identity, delivering impactful content strategies, and ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop and implement a forward-thinking brand strategy across digital and traditional channels.

Lead the planning and creation of engaging, audience-led content aligned with brand values and business objectives.

Own and optimise display advertising campaigns to maximise brand reach and visibility.

Oversee media relations, building strong relationships with key press and media contacts to elevate brand reputation.

Manage and inspire a high-performing content team, fostering innovation and collaboration.

Ensure consistency and quality across all written content, including web, email, blogs, and printed materials.

Drive the brand's content evolution through insight-driven innovation and trend analysis.

Align content and communication strategies to improve customer engagement, retention, and acquisition.

Work cross-functionally to deliver a seamless brand experience across all customer touchpoints.

Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, providing strategic insights and data-driven recommendations.

Proven experience developing and executing brand and content strategies, ideally within a retail or eCommerce environment.

Strong background in managing media relations, securing positive press coverage, and working with external agencies.

Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills, with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.

Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring content or marketing teams.

Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines.

Strong understanding of customer engagement principles and digital content performance metrics.

Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand-building.
