Job Title: Field Sales Manager
Location: Home based with occasional need to travel nationwide and abroad as required
Salary: TBC depending on experience
Purpose of Role: You will be working for one of the UK's largest providers of garage equipment, promoting and seliing their total proposition of products and services within a defined area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating sales leads for all aspects of the proposition
- Following up enquiries and making necessary customer appointments
- Site surveys
- Basic sketches for submission to our client's CAD office where applicable
- Working in conjunction with office-based sales staff
- Sales support at exhibitions
- Providing sales support for all target customers where applicable
- Achieving sales and margin targets
Key Performance Indicators:
- Sales and Margin Targets
- Lead Generation and Sales conversion rates
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Good working knowledge and experience of capital garage equipment and related services
- Knowledge of legislative requirements
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve targets
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent levels of communication, dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels
- Positive "can do" attitude towards solving customer problems
- Knowledge of the region's geography and road network would be a distinct advantage
- Financial awareness
- IT literacy
- Current UK Driving licence
- Some overnight stays may be necessary where business requires occasionally
