Job Title:Â Senior Marketing & Communications Executive
Location:Â Birmingham City Centre (Hybrid working: 2 days a week in the office)

Job Description:
As the Senior Marketing & Communications Executive, you will conduct and support marketing activities that raise awareness and perception amongst UK and international B2B audiences of Birmingham City Centre as a desirable location to invest. You will operate across a full mix of marketing channels to promote our proposition and support lead generation. You will monitor the progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit monthly reports.
Main Responsibilities and Key Activities:
- Be a lead contact for specialist stakeholders & internal Investment teams
- Support the Sector Marketing Manager with marketing activity and reporting.
- Be a trusted partner supporting on digital marketing, producing collateral, delivering campaigns, promotion, and delivery of events and other marketing activities.
- Support the delivery of marketing content and plan.
- Lead on and ensure the effective delivery of the new marketing plan, working with the Marketing Manager to ensure it forms part of the wider BPFS narrative and relevant opportunities for cross-promotion are identified.
- Lead on communications elements by working with the freelance comms resource through sending briefs for content, working to ensure delivery of press releases, and amplifying comms that are created.
- Manage key relationships including clients, partners, and colleagues in other teams who deliver on the same accounts.
- Plan against budgets and manage time allocation against pre-defined hours.
- Day-to-day client liaison.
- Maintain and continue to build awareness of sector propositions to inform and improve quality of output across all channels.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate simple campaigns or tactics within campaigns.
- Produce collateral, advertising, and lead on event delivery.
- Highlight issues with delivery (quality and time), suggest solutions for further improvement.
- Ensure brand guidelines are followed.
- Support with development and management of digital channels and platforms – websites, social media, and e-newsletters – leading on elements e.g., new web section across relevant sectors, as well as leading on the development of the ProfTech account website.
- Provide actionable insights from web and social analytics.
- Support the Invest website.
- Manage key social media channels.
- Email marketing.
- Manage Events and support Directors attending stakeholders' events.
- Support the marketing team with social media content and messaging.
- Highlight company and team successes to the internal comms team.
