A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior National Account Manager to join a highly successful and innovative BWS company in the FMCG industry.

They have an instantly recognisable brand and are known for regularly updating their product portfolio offering across Bottled and Draught with exciting flavour variations.

This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with strong experience in the convenience and cash & carry sector.

The RoleAs the Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and strategically developing key accounts, including Co-op, Nisa, and other convenience customers as needed. You'll have a key focus on increasing brand presence and driving profit, working with a Brand leader in its category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture key customer accounts through regular contact with buyers and other stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of the brand with key customers, exceeding annual profit and volume targets.
  • Create and implement promotional plans, while ensuring product availability through accurate forecasting.
  • Analyse account performance and competitor activities, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure growth.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders, including the Channel Controller and colleagues across business units.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven National Account Management experience within Convenience or Grocery channels.
  • Demonstrable experience in alcohol or FMCG sales, with a strong track record in managing brands.
  • Excellent P&L management, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience in joint business plans and category management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
