A SIOP Manager who will coordinate and optimize the sales, inventory, and operations planning processes within the organsiation. This role is crucial for balancing supply and demand, minimizing costs, and ensuring efficient resource utilization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales team input.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align on demand planning and promotional activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Implement inventory control processes and systems to track and manage stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align production schedules with sales forecasts and inventory plans.
  • Optimize production plans to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products.
  • Lead the SIOP process, including regular meetings with cross-functional teams to review and update forecasts, inventory levels, and production plans.
  • Develop and implement SIOP best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, and operations planning.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales, marketing, production, procurement, and finance teams.

Criteria:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field is essential.
  • A master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, ERP systems, and forecasting software.
  • Excellent leadership and people skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive the SIOP process.
  • Effective communication skills to effectively present information and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to address issues in demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Understanding of the industry and market dynamics relevant to the organization's products and services.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and operations management principles.
  • Proficiency in using ERP and SIOP software systems to manage planning processes.
  • Knowledge of advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems is a plus.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in end-to-end supply chain.
  • Five years of experience in S&OP, demand and/or supply planning.
