TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

Position: Technical Sales Manager

Full Time Position

Location: Head Office based in Shropshire with travel throughout the UK & Ireland for customer visits.

Salary: Attractive remuneration according to profile and experience (basic salary + company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone).

YOUR MISSIONS:

  • Reporting to the General Manager and operating independently throughout the UK & Ireland, your main objectives will be as follows:
  • Develop the customer portfolio in various sectors of activity: specialized hydraulic distributors, original equipment manufacturers or end users.
  • Carry out prospecting actions to develop and sustain the activity.
  • Present our range of products and their quality.
  • Visit potential customers, identify their needs and develop customer relations.
  • Negotiate prices while respecting profitability levels.
  • Participate in trade fairs to promote products and our brand image.
  • Record and report on progress and visits.
  • To assist with your objectives, you will have a back office in UK and permanent technical support from the Group's headquarters in Italy.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • With a higher technical or commercial education, you must have initial successful experience in the field of filtration, ideally with a hydraulic filter manufacturer.
  • You are therefore recognized for your excellent technical skills and have a good understanding of the UK & Ireland markets and its specifics.
  • A seasoned salesperson, with excellent listening and customer relations skills, know how to identify sales opportunities and conclude transactions.
  • You are autonomous, organized, skilled with new technologies and you attach importance to achieving your objectives.
  • You are willing to travel frequently throughout the UK & Ireland and hold a valid UK driving license.
