Flourish Education are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a GOOD-rated Local Authority Nursery School in West Heath, working with children aged 2-4. This is a long-term role could be perfect for you! Starting from October half-term, this role offers a chance to make a real difference in early years education.
This Local Authority Nursery school in West Heath caters to children aged 2-4 years old. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education, working within the Early Years Framework (EYFS). This is a full-time, long-term position, covering a long-term absence.
The responsibilities of this Nursery Practitioner Role :
- Support the learning and development of 2-4-year-olds.
- Plan and deliver activities following the EYFS framework.
- Work closely with the teaching team to create a nurturing environment.
- Maintain safeguarding and welfare standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating setting for children.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Previous UK school experience is essential.
- Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education.
- Understanding of the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Experience working with 2-4-year-olds.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
