We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our new Children's Home in Birmingham. Our organisation is committed to providing high-quality care in a child-centered environment, aligning with our ethos and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Ofsted registered children's home in line with the organisation's approach and ethos.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care as outlined in the home's statement of purpose, focusing on the holistic development and well-being of the children.
  • Manage safeguarding processes, risk assessment, and service governance to ensure the safety and welfare of all children and young people.
  • Coordinate access to essential services to meet the health, education, social, psychological, and emotional needs of the children.
  • Monitor and evaluate outcomes and progress for children, ensuring alignment with their individual care plans.
  • Provide management supervision, review standards, and facilitate practice development among staff.
  • Review care and service plans regularly to ensure effective delivery of care.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in children's residential care.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within children's residential care.
  • Full UK Driving License required
