Registered Manager (Children’s Residential Services)Are you a passionate and experienced leader, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children?We are seeking a Children’s Registered Manager to lead a dynamic team within a ‘Outstanding’ rated Children’s Residential Home. This is an ideal role for a dedicated professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people, empowering them to achieve positive outcomes.Role and responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of care staff to deliver exceptional, child-centred care in accordance with Ofsted regulations.
  • Operational lead for all safeguarding matters across the service.
  • Positive role model and mentor to the team of care staff – Providing therapeutic care and support for each child.
  • Contribute to overall improvements in the quality of care across the home – Leading performance reviews and appraisals, delivering training to staff and planning for developments within the home
  • Build positive relationships with families, social workers, education providers and other professionals.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a management or senior role within a similar setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services.
  • Significant experience supporting young people with EBD, SEMH and other complex needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
