Car Parking Manager

I am pleased to present a career opportunity for a Car Parking Manager, for an organisation in Birmingham. This will be Full Time, but with hybrid working and flexible working possible with the hours being roughly 37.5 per week.

The hourly rate is between 25 and 30 per hour dependent on experience. The role will between 6 and 12 months, with the opportunity to go permanent

Your job will be to manage and administer a staff car parking scheme. Post holder will need to be able to process and make decisions on high volume yet uncomplex written and numerical data, be methodical and accurate as well as being able to apply judgement fairly and consistently in emotive contexts.

Key duties:

• Assessing evidence to approve or reject car parking permit requests against a defined eligibility criteria
• Analysing and monitoring utilisation data to identify non compliant parking events
• Overseeing the management of non compliant parking events in accordance with enforcement process
• Secure appropriate levels of engagement from divisional management and leadership teams to ensure consistent application of car parking eligibility arrangements
• Judging evidence and making decisions on whether or not to revoke parking permits and to manage arising consequences
• Dealing with challenging behaviour from staff such as managing distressed / angry situations due to frustrations with parking arrangements
• Iterative monitoring of permit holder databases to identify and resolve arising changes to permit eligibility status
