Job Description: The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects in both commercial and residential settings. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for electrical installations in commercial and residential projects.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Quality Control: Oversee all aspects of project quality, ensuring that installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular site inspections to maintain high safety standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Project Handover: Ensure successful project handover, providing necessary documentation and support to clients upon project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CEng) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, with a proven track record in both commercial and residential projects.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring precision in planning, execution, and documentation.
