Geotechnical Project Engineer

Location: Birmingham - Home-based with flexible travel to client sites.

Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 basic + Car or Allowance + Bonus + Package

Role:

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a consultancy that specialises in Geotechnical Engineering, growing their capabilities across the infrastructure sector with clients across Rail, Water, Highways, Power and Aviation sectors and a work bank covering the UK.

Due to demand a new role has been created adding more availability to the Southern region. Working with key clients such as Network Rail, Thames Water, TFL and Southern Water. Your role is to be the interface between the client and design team, identifying what the problems are before getting the team to create the correct solutions for them.

This role requires 2x main skills, someone who is both people-oriented and technically-minded. Who enjoys solving technical problems with clients, discussing the client's issues and then developing potential solutions with your Engineering team. You will work mainly directly with clients, supported by technical experts with experience in the delivery of advanced ground improvement methods.

Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:

  • Work with the Engineering team to prepare and design solutions that solve the clients' problems.
  • Interpret site investigation data to assist with the production of detailed treatment designs.
  • Responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring client needs are met, and driving additional business.
  • Input and maintain accurate data into company systems.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and business executives.
  • Support operations and delivery by working closely with the Operations Director and Contracts Managers to maintain strong client relationships throughout the duration of the works

Qualifications & Experience:-

  • Minimum of a Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Site-based working to demonstrate stakeholder interface skills and able to problem solve with the client.
  • Full driving licence
