Our client, a well-recognised, multidisciplinary engineering Consultancy is seeking a competent infrastructure engineer to join the team in Birmingham and assist in leading the design and implementation of drainage systems across the Midlands.
Working as a infrastructure engineer you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from residential and commercial developments to infrastructure and environmental initiatives. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and professionals committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities for this drainage engineer role are;
* Design and analyse of drainage systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify drainage requirements and constraints.
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
* Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to develop tailored drainage solutions.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in drainage engineering.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Proven experience in civil drainage engineering, including design, analysis, and project management.
* Proficiency in industry-standard software such as PDS. Microdrainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and StormCAD.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
