Cloud and Hosting Specialist Infrastructure


Location: Birmingham 2 days a week

At Khuda Technology, we are searching for a talented Cloud and Hosting Specialist to join our team and work with an international MSP. This role supports the Cloud and Data Centre management function by resolving technical incidents, handling service requests, and ensuring quality and productivity objectives. You'll be an integral part of the team, working closely on transformative cloud and infrastructure projects.

As a Cloud and Hosting Specialist, you will actively participate in managing our clients' cloud and hosting services, ensuring they remain at the highest standards of performance, security, and efficiency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve supporting ongoing projects, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and implementing best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Support cloud and hosting projects, implementing roadmap improvements and identifying risks.

Collaborate with the security team to maintain robust cybersecurity standards, ensuring compliance with ISO27001 and CES+ certifications.

Conduct regular health checks on cloud implementations, ensuring they align with vendor best practices.

Champion standardized procedures and automation within cloud infrastructure management.

Implement best practices, maintain compliance with data protection regulations, and oversee incident management.

Participate in team meetings, contributing to open and honest communication.

Communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats, adapting to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Understand and optimize service cost drivers for a streamlined and profitable service delivery.

Skills:

Proficient in Azure and Windows-based Cloud Infrastructure management.

Experience with DevOps, ARM deployment, automation, NSG, and PaaS management.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012/16/19.

Proficiency in PowerShell and JSON scripting.

Azure Certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.

Strong presentation skills to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Analytical approach to technical problem-solving.

Experience in writing clear and concise service reports and proposals.

Skilled in relationship-building across technical, operational, and business disciplines.
