The client

Our client is a leading, main Building Services (MEP) contractor based across the UK. Well-versed in delivering projects up to £1m-£30m in M&E value, they are currently self-delivering on a number of schemes within the Birmingham/Midlands area.

The role

As a Mechanical Project Manager/Engineer, you will be required to get involved with projects from the conception, helping to steer the project from the very start, helping to establish best practices, cost-saving opportunities and delivering excellent. Your Mechanical installations team are all in-house, living and breathing the company's high standards. Your job will be to lead them going forward, managing client expectations and ensure the project is delivered on time and to a high standard.

The requirements

You will have experience delivering projects from the hospitality, commercial and education sectors. Ideally working your way up from a tools background, you have a great deal of experience in legislation, project management, reporting and successful delivery. Above all, you will be a people person, used to mixing with a variety of stakeholders. The client is seeking the right person with the right attitude, so some lack of experience can be worked with, providing you're the right fit.

The package

You can expect to earn anywhere up to £70K with a bonus based on performance of the site and success. The role also have private medical, a car allowance and generous pension contribution. The role and job description are flexible as the candidate is interested in finding the right person.
