Are you an experienced Senior Site Engineer looking to elevate your career with a leading multinational contractor? Our client, a prestigious Tier 1 main contractor headquartered in Birmingham, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Site Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the Midlands region, including healthcare, residential, education, and Ministry of Defence (MOD) sectors, with project values ranging from £10m to £200m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to provide regular updates and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Engineer, with a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
