Duties and Responsibilities
- As the Senior Engineer, you will review design changes and instruct the setting out engineers of any changes
- Quality assurance (QA) checks on-site
- Monitor and check setting-out works
- RFI s, call-offs
- Temporary works inspections
- Raising technical queries on design issues
- Attend meeting with the client
- Uphold HSE standards and report any issues
Essential Requirements
- Experience of heavy civils reinforced concrete (nuclear, infrastructure)
- In depth knowledge of reinforcement drawings
- Demonstrated experience managing reinforced concrete quality procedures / records in heavily regulated environments (infrastructure / nuclear)
- Experience with a Tier 1 contractor
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Experience in formwork / RC temporary works
- Degree qualified (or equivalent qualification)
- Main contractor experience in engineering roles on major infrastructure projects
