Senior Geotechnical Engineer | Birmingham | £40,000

Are you a Senior Geotechnical Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity in Birmingham? A talented consultancy is looking to recruit! This is an exciting role with a variety of responsibilities and projects. Mainly, you will be working on large infrastructure projects, but you will also have the chance to work on residential projects.

The main responsibilities of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer include: factual and interpretive reports, producing risk assessments, site walkovers, geotechnical analysis, basic foundation design, borehole logging and ground investigation reports. As the Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will be expected to be self-directed as you will also be leading the team. You will be setting out an example on site and mentoring the junior geotechnical engineers.

You will also be given an opportunity to personally progress in the field. The role of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer means that you will be liaising with clients and contributing to business development.

  • Geology/Civil engineering degree
  • Leadership skills
  • Live within a commutable distance from the Birmingham office
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full rights to work in the UK
