Senior Infrastructure Engineer - 42 - 48K

Solihull, Birmingham

Spinks are partnered with a global leader in the Veterinary Services space who are looking to bolster their Infrastructure team with a Senior Engineer.

Key Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Networking Fundamentals - Switching/ IP Subnetting/ VLANS/ Routing
  • Microsoft 365 Administration & Configuration / Active Directory Administration
  • Azure Virtual Networking
  • Window Server Deployment & Administration
  • Intune Device Management & Deployment
  • Firewall Installation & Configuration (Preferably WatchGuard) / Security minded
  • Backup Management & Configuration (preferably Acronis Cloud)
  • Wi-Fi Installation & Configuration / Wi-Fi Survey
  • Extensive experience of operating in a corporate / mid-size enterprise level IT Networking Infrastructure role
  • Experience of consolidating a wide variety of technologies into a standardised offering.
  • Experience of developing and delivering IT solutions and projects.
  • Able to effectively prioritise workload when in high pressure situations working both remotely and on-site
  • Full driving license, Access to vehicle and business use included on policy.

This role is part of a wider Infrastructure team and will report into the Principal Infrastructure Engineer. On occasion, this role may require working unsociable or extended hours (as an exception when required) to carry out planned change activities or resolve high priority operational incidents. These arrangements will be covered by the existing overtime + travel policy.
