Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Oversight: Assist in the management and implementation of engineering tasks for the structures package, including bridges, retaining walls, and other associated works.
- Setting Out: Provide accurate setting-out and surveying support to ensure precise alignment and construction of RC Structures.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards including Test Plans, Method Statements and RAMs
- Coordination: Work collaboratively with subcontractors, project managers, and the wider site team to maintain smooth project delivery.
- Health & Safety: Uphold and enforce the highest levels of health and safety compliance on-site.
- Progress Reporting: Record and report on-site activities, progress, and any technical issues encountered.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in a site engineering role, ideally with exposure to large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of structures, construction techniques, and relevant standards
- Technology: Proficiency in using surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station) and relevant software
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Certifications: SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
