About the Role:
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the maintenance and environmental sectors, ensuring the ongoing safety and compliance of Domestic & Commercial Water systems.
In this important role, you’ll be responsible for a range of essential Water Hygiene tasks, including maintaining safe water systems and ensuring full compliance with industry regulations. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow professionally while working with a supportive, forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections, monitoring and sampling of water systems to ensure compliance with water hygiene regulations (L8, HSG274)
• Perform tasks including water temperature monitoring, chlorination, system disinfection and remedial work such as TMV servicing
• Produce detailed reports, risk assessments and certification documentation to maintain accurate records of water hygiene tasks
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance on water hygiene maintenance and compliance
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team to uphold the highest standards of water hygiene

• Experience in the water hygiene sector, with a focus on the monitoring and maintenance of water systems
• Strong understanding of water hygiene regulations (L8, HSG274) and best practices for maintaining safe water quality
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering compliant, high-quality work
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery
