Pinnacle have partnered with a leading Civils company, who have a civil rail project starting in Birmingham. Our client is looking for a Works Manager to oversee the project until completion.

You'll oversee planned and reactive projects, requiring expertise in Civil Engineering Construction.

The responsibilities of a Works Manager will Include:

  • Procuring essential materials, managing sub-contractors, and coordinating plant and equipment.
  • Implementing site-specific management plans to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Preparing site works packages and contract plans, facilitating possession, isolation, and traffic management requests.
  • Providing guidance to site personnel and identifying training needs.
  • Conducting site visits with contractors and sub-contractors.

    Ideal experience needed:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering Construction.
  • SMSTS / SSSTS certification.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple work sites.
  • Experience in railway environments
  • Railway Safety Training (PTS)
  • Strong multitasking skills and adaptability.
  • Proven track record in managing frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, people management, and problem-solving skills.

Salary upto 65,000, plus benefits.
