Associate Building Surveyor, BirminghamPermanentSalary £50,000 - £60,000 plus company car, bonus.
The role:
- Providing competent professional advise to clients on a range of property related issues including advising on capital works schemes, feasibility, works prioritisation and building / construction issues.
- Leading and managing financial targets and ensure client satisfaction.
- Delegate and monitor progress on projects ensuring timescales are met and the team are performing to the best of their ability.
- Problem solve and find solutions when issues occur, for yourself and your team.
- Seek to develop new business opportunities and develop existing relationships.
- Undertaking building condition surveys.
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work and drawings for capital improvement works.
- Contract administration including drafting of standard contract forms.
- Project management of annual capital programmes of work across multiple sites
- Building and creating strong relationships with clients.
Key Skills and Experience:
- BSc/MSc in Building Surveying.
- Achieved Chartered status or suitably qualified by experience.
- Practical understanding of commercial property.
- Proficient user of AutoCAD and standard Microsoft packages.
- Line management experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
