The role:

  • Providing competent professional advise to clients on a range of property related issues including advising on capital works schemes, feasibility, works prioritisation and building / construction issues.
  • Leading and managing financial targets and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Delegate and monitor progress on projects ensuring timescales are met and the team are performing to the best of their ability.
  • Problem solve and find solutions when issues occur, for yourself and your team.
  • Seek to develop new business opportunities and develop existing relationships.
  • Undertaking building condition surveys.
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of work and drawings for capital improvement works.
  • Contract administration including drafting of standard contract forms.
  • Project management of annual capital programmes of work across multiple sites
  • Building and creating strong relationships with clients.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • BSc/MSc in Building Surveying.
  • Achieved Chartered status or suitably qualified by experience.
  • Practical understanding of commercial property.
  • Proficient user of AutoCAD and standard Microsoft packages.
  • Line management experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
