We are seeking a Building Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years' post graduate experience who is ready to embark on the next stage of their career.

The Company:
A prestigious client in central Birmingham, renowned for delivering top tier consultative Building Surveying services nationwide. Are gearing up for expansion and this is your chance to be part of something exciting.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in building surveying services, and either pursuing or recently completing their RICS accreditation.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Contract Administration such as tender documentation, contractor agreements and measuring site progress against contracts.
- Dilapidations: Ensuring costs, schedules and maintenance adjustments are met in line with lease requirements
- Party Wall Matters: Liasing with owners of party walls and surveying premises in a time critical manor.
- Landlord and Tenant Services
- Defect Analysis and Resolution
- Client Brief Development: understanding the end goal and what the client is aiming to achieve and relaying back to developers.
- Project Delivery: making sure projects are in line with pre-agreed timeframes and budgetary constraints.
- Compliance with Planning & Building Regulations
- Specification Writing: Identify any areas for repair and or further development.
- Schedule of Work Production

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a degree in Building Surveying or Construction Project Management and be able to demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude and a client-focused approach. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with NEC Contracts and Project Cost Control are advantageous. You must have a full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
