Graduate Building Surveyor - BirminghamSalary: £30K per annumA renowned construction consultancy is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their expanding team. This consultancy provides a full range of Building Surveying services to clients and is currently experiencing a period of growth, The position is based in the Central Birmingham office, but the consultancy serves clients on a national level so UK wide travel will be required. Owning your own vehicle is essential.Benefits:

Requirements:

Relevant Construction Degree in Building Surveying & working towards final assessment with RICS or recently completed APC.
Working knowledge of a range of building surveying services.
Ability to work independently with a strong team spirit and a positive attitude to service delivery.
Experience or understanding in delivering core building surveying services such as:

o Contract Administrationo Dilapidationso Party Wallo Landlord and Tenanto Defect Analysis and Rectificationo Developing a Client's Briefo Project deliveryo JCT Contract Administration (Minor and IF)o Technical Compliance (Planning & Building Regulations)o Specification writingo Producing schedules of workAdditional Skills:

Awareness of the Principal Designer role
Design experience (using AutoCAD)
Knowledge of NEC Contracts (Option C)
Project Cost Control
