They have been operating for 100 years and turned over £200 million last year. Your new roleYou will work as a Building Surveyor with Loss Adjusting experience within their West Midlands region. You will play a crucial role in assessing and managing property claims. Your expertise will be vital in evaluating building conditions, identifying necessary repairs, and ensuring accurate loss assessments. You will work closely with clients, insurers, and contractors to provide comprehensive and professional advice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed building surveys and inspections.
  • Assess property damage and prepare detailed reports.
  • Provide expert advice on repair and restoration work.
  • Manage and negotiate insurance claims.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and contractors to ensure smooth claim processing.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

What you'll need to succeedRequirements:

  • Proven experience as a Building Surveyor.
  • Strong background in Loss Adjusting.
  • Excellent knowledge of building construction and property maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Membership in a professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable.
