Our client is currently seeking a Building Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in extensive building contract administration and ensure high standards in Council-owned housing projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking extensive building contract administration
  • Preparing legal contract tender documentation and specifications
  • Supervising and monitoring capital contracts for Council-owned housing
  • Carrying out inspections of void and tenanted properties to agree work specifications
  • Delivering a customer-focused reactive maintenance service
  • Engaging with residents to provide support, advice and interventions
  • Ensuring prompt and high-quality repair works
  • Monitoring and supervising contractors to meet performance targets and customer satisfaction


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in building surveying
