I'm looking for a Building Surveyor to join a small dedicated team that works on a variety of exciting projects for high-profile clients across the UK. You'll gain exposure to both professional and project-based surveying work while playing a key role in driving the team's success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing key client accounts and fostering strong relationships.
- Identifying new opportunities and supporting business development efforts.
- Preparing reports such as due diligence, feasibility studies, and maintenance recommendations.
- Conducting building inspections, analysing defects, and recommending repairs.
- Delivering schedules of dilapidations, reinstatement cost assessments, and specifications of works.
- Administering contracts, valuations, and certifications.
- Advising on Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
Requirements:
- A degree in Building Surveying and relevant industry experience.
- MRICS qualification with post-qualification experience (private practice preferred).
- Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to generate and deliver new business.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage instructions from start to finish.
- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, NBS, and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
