Role: Building Surveyor

Location: Coventry/Leicester WFH

Salary: up to £60k, plus car allowance + uncapped bonus

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Surveyor to cover the south Midlands region.  You will typically travel up to 2hrs from your home address to attend site.  You will be carrying out instructions on behalf of various clients, including Loss Adjusters, Insurers, Local Authorities and Corporate Clients.  The work will include claims related instructions as well as maintenance programs and major repairs. 

A summary of the role:

  • Technical Expertise: Manage a caseload of Surveying instructions, including Defect Diagnostic Surveys, Costed Schedules and Project Repairs.
  • Customer & Client Focus: Deliver exceptional service, communicate effectively, and work proactively with clients, contractors, and team members to exceed service standards.
  • Surveying Skills: Strong knowledge of Surveying with a focus on CDM Regulations and JCT Contract management, including handling variations, payments, and key contract milestones.
  • IT & Communication: High degree of IT competency and literacy, paired with excellent communication and negotiation skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Professional Integrity: Demonstrate a commitment to market-leading service delivery, team collaboration, and personal integrity while adhering to RICS Ethics and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
  • Revenue Targets: Achieve a revenue target, linked to a multiple of your basic salary, with lucrative bonus payments paid annually, offering significant earning potential.
