Hello,
My client is one of the UK’s multidisciplinary professional practice specialising in the built environment. They are currently in need of a Civil CAD Technician to join their team in Birmingham.
DUTIES:
- Preparing drawings to support residential and commercial planning applications.
- Preparing drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications.
- Preparing engineering base plans to support the detailed design of residential sites.
- Liaising directly with clients when necessary.
SKILLS:
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
- Excellent presentation skills and drawing set-up
- Previous experience of civil engineering (particularly roads and drainage and within the residential sector)
- Proactive
- Self-motivated
- Able to work under pressure
- Adaptable to rapidly changing projects
- Proven ability to work well within teams and willingness to take accountability for own work
- Be able to liaise with clients in a professional manner.

LOCATION: BIRMINGHAM
SALARY: £20k-£30K PER ANNUM
