Construction Internal Quality Assessor
Stanfords Training Ltd, based in Birmingham, is seeking a vibrant, committed and high achieving NVQ/QCF Internal Quality Assurer to monitor, support assessors with assessing judgments and providing training and development support within the construction sector. The Internal Quality Assurer must have achieved a D32, D33 and 34 or V1 award and have a high level and up to date competence and understanding of the construction occupational area and the apprenticeship standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate the assessments carried out by trainers and assessors to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Design, develop and deliver an individual programme of training and assessment to ensure successful completion of the apprentices individual learning plan within the planned duration.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of training and assessment processes, providing feedback for improvement.
- Ensure that all assessments comply with the relevant awarding body regulations and national standards.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments and verifications, including reports on performance and improvement plans.
- Provide guidance and training to assessors on best practices in assessment and verification
- Offer support to apprentices regarding assessment processes and standards
- Contribute to the development and improvement of training materials and assessment practices

Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction industry and knowledge of relevant qualifications and standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- An Internal Verifier qualification (such as IV or V1)
- CAVA / A1 assessor award
- Level 3 Teacher Qualification/PTLLS
- Knowledge and understanding of current best practices in assessment and verification.
