Up to 36,400 per annum - static role, no call out rota
Permanent role for a mechanical/water maintenance technician, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday at a static site in Birmingham. There is no on call rota for this role. This will suit someone looking for a static role, working days, without the pressure of going on a call out rota.
In this role, your main duties will include (but not limited to)
- Maintenance on TMV,'s Water Tanks, Showers, Taps, Calorifiers, Water Softeners, RO Plant, DI plant, water sampling and temperature checks.
- Working knowledge of Legionella and other water pathogens
- Have a knowledge of water storage tank cleaning and disinfection
- Undertake temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and disinfection, Tank visual inspections, water samples, calorifier visual inspections, TMV servicing, to name a few
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of City and Guilds Level 2 in heating/ventilation/plumbing (level 3 would be advantageous), with either previous experience, or the desire to work at a static site.
On offer is a permanent position, paying up to 36,400 per annum, working Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
