Role: Passive Fire Protection Manager

Location: West Midlands (2-3 days in the Birmingham office per week)

Salary: Up to £50,000 + car or car allowance

WRG is excited to partner with an ambitious fire safety consultancy that has impressive growth plans for the future, our client owns a sister company which focuses on passive fire protection and fire stopping services to their clients throughout the built environment.

They are looking to appoint an experienced fire safety professional with the relevant qualifications and experience to further develop and grow this new area of the business. Essentially you will be responsible for all aspects of client development, sales, bidding for new projects, recruitment etc. reporting into the Group Managing Director who will offer their full support and guidance to ensure this new venture becomes a success.

This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking and commercially minded fire safety professional to join a fire safety consultancy during an exciting period of growth for the business.

Duties:

  • Carryout compartmentation surveys.
  • Offer technical fire stopping solutions.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, project managers, residents and other stakeholders.
  • Identify fire stopping issues and ensure these are addressed e.g breaches in fire barriers.
  • Oversee passive fire protection projects across various sectors (residential, commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, retail, leisure)
  • Business development or new and existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent.
  • FDIS Fire Door Diploma or equivalent.
  • Membership to IFE, IFSM or similar body.
  • Excellent understanding of fire legislation and regulations.
  • Fire stopping experience within the sector.
  • Third part accredited e.g Firas/ BM Trada (desirable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Full UK driving license.
