Salary: £48,900 to £61,150 per year, plus up to 6% double matched pension
Attendance per week: Birmingham office, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
This role will be working on behalf of the largest infrastructure project in Europe in their Birmingham office, dedicated to delivering high-quality rail systems and stations.
This prominent rail client is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join their team of experienced professionals, specifically in Civil Construction, and Systems.
This role is critical in ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards, as well as driving continuous improvement throughout the organisation. The successful candidate will have a broad engineering project background and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge and experience with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Previous experience in high-value, high-complexity projects, preferably in the rail, aerospace, or defence sectors.
- Lead Auditor accreditation.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including manipulating spreadsheets and extracting meaningful insights.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and areas requiring intervention.
- Ability to present complex information to senior leadership teams and assist in decision-making processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse project teams and supply chains.
- Experience in quality management and the ability to review quality plans, audit schedules, and audit reports.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and the ability to integrate quality management into project systems.
- A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
