We are working with a nationally recognised provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella Management services who due to continued growth are now seeking to take on a qualified and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber. The successful candidate will be confident in working on Healthcare, Educational, Local Authority, Commercial and Leisure sites, carrying out various water hygiene / plumbing duties in line with company and client requirements. For the successful candidate, our client can offer opportunities for overtime with generous overtime rates, allowing you to gain a considerable amount on top of your basic salary.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Walsall, West Bromwich, Dudley, Cannock, Lichfield, Wolverhampton, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Redditch, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Lutterworth, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Stafford, Retford, Shrewsbury, Stoke on Trent, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Market Harborough, Long Eaton, Nottingham, Leicester.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding an industry recognised qualification e.g. City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher is essential to the role.
" Will be able to confidently carry out L8 Compliance and remedial plumbing duties on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Will have experience working for a reputable provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella Management services.
" Excellent knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent IT skills, able to update onsite logbooks.
The Role:
" Legionella sampling.
" Temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing, cleans & disinfections alongside failsafe testing.
" Showerhead descales.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Deadlead removals.
" Undertaking mains disinfections.
" Undertaking removal, replacement, and rerouting of PVC and copper pipework.
" Completing onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
