Our valued client is looking for a Civils operative, plus a labourer, to join the their team in the West Midlands.
As a Civils operative, your core responsibilities will be –
- Provide new installation of duct, chambers, and cabinets and associated customer connections.
- Civils operative must be able to clear blockages in the highway and reinstate to industry standard ensuring all information and photos are captured on company supplied assets i.e. phone or tablet
- Be competent in the use of Stihl Saws / Wacker plates / trench compactor / jack hammer and hold the correct certification to complete the works
- Experience of risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities
- Be fully responsible for the company assets and equipment assigned to you for the purpose of performing your duties
- Ensure compliance with all client processes and procedures
- Can communicate effectively and professionally with others and work well within a team
Required Qualifications:
- Full Streetworks Operative; LA, O1 - O5 and O8
- SA006
- K008 Hand Rodding in UG Network
- Q13 - Box Building
- Q19 - Core Drilling
- Q20 - Duct Blockages
- Q21 - Duct Laying
Required Skills:
- Full UK Driving Licence
Pay: £300 per day, for skilled civils operative and labourer, increasing to £350 per day after 6 months.
