Were seeking an experienced Head of Data to lead this educational trusts data strategy and support impactful decision-making across thier schools. With a strong background in educational performance data, youll manage data quality, integration, and analysis using various MIS Systems and other statistical tools, ensuring data drives strategic planning and educational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead data quality, integration, and reporting processes across the trust with MIS and other integrated systems.
  • Develop Datawarehouses for use across the facility & ensure the accuracy of data that resides within the data warehouse
  • Ensure performance of data using MIS and other analytical tools (e.g., Excel, R, SPSS, Tableau).
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends that support educational and operational objectives.
  • Develop & oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting frameworks for trust-wide use by executive teams, school leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Present insights through reports and data visualisations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage and mentor a data team, promoting best practices and delivering key insights efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with educational leaders to ensure data practices align with current policies and performance metrics.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Degree in a numerate discipline; advanced qualification in statistics preferred.
  • Strong experience in developing, deploying & managing Data Warehouses
  • Experience in educational Management Informations system such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, Salamander, OpenEMIS
  • Expertise in MIS and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, R, SPSS, Tableau).
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely data projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence a range of stakeholders.
