Medical Devices Statistician - Birmingham

A growing Medical Devices company needs an experienced Statistician to help them in the collation and analysis of data that will aid in the development of brand new medical technologies.

You will work alongside an advanced R&D team helping provide information that will be vital in the direction the team's development takes. Not only will you be involved with analysing vital data, you will be deeply involved with the implementation of new methods to extract data.

Ideally you will have a large amount of experience in the Medical Devices sector, using SAS to collate and analyse data. If you have not worked in Medical Devices but have exposure to diagnostics, scientific, pharmaceutical, medical or clinical research you would still have the skills required.

To have worked in this type of role it is expected you would hold a degree within a statistics based subject, you will also need a number of years' experience working as a statistician.

As you will be working alongside R&D teams and reporting information you will need to have clear communication skills, both written and spoken. You will also need the confidence to discuss and defend your results when needed.
