Role Overview:

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the company’s IT infrastructure. You will provide 2nd line support with opportunities to engage in 3rd line support, ensuring the seamless operation of their cutting-edge tech platform. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line support for IT infrastructure issues, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Assist with 3rd line support tasks, collaborating with senior engineers to address complex technical challenges.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and reliability of the IT infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage system upgrades, patches, and configurations.
  • Support the deployment and integration of new technologies and solutions.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and solutions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an IT infrastructure role, with a focus on 2nd line support and exposure to 3rd line support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with network administration, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
