We are currently recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Birmingham who will be responsible for implementing and managing robust and scalable infrastructure solutions within a global SaaS environment.
Location: Birmingham
Length: Permanent, full-time
Environment: Hybrid, 1 day per month in Birmingham
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise to lead infrastructure discussions and implementation across all areas of the platforms.
- Interpret requirements and contribute to the design and deployment of scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Responsible for both design and delivery of cloud-based infrastructure and application solutions.
- Manage server-side and cloud-based features within the infrastructure environment.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and practices, ensuring smooth integration and deployment processes.
- Mentor engineers to support a cross-functional technical delivery team.
- Work accurately within time constraints, delivering solutions that meet the requirements for time, cost, and quality.
Key Experience:
- Demonstrates strong expertise in infrastructure management and automation across various platforms.
- Experienced in managing cloud infrastructure using GCP, with proficiency in Cloud Run and Terraform.
- Good understanding of CI/CD practices and tools, ensuring streamlined deployment processes.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrates comprehensive experience across the full infrastructure lifecycle, from design and implementation to monitoring and optimization, ideally within an Agile framework.
