We are hiring for a Business Development Executive who excels in building relationships and driving sales through B2B outreach in Birmingham city centre. This is a vibrant and energetic media environment where you’ll play a key role in expanding the client’s presence across digital and print platforms, as well as prestigious events.

Duties of a Business Development Executive

In this role, you will be working in the New Business division to support the company’s global growth and brand partnerships. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for:• Conducting outbound outreach to businesses and decision-makers • Presenting collaborative opportunities within publications and events• Managing client relationships and maintaining long-term partnerships• Meeting and exceeding individual and team-based sales targets• Representing the brand at industry events and professional gatherings

Skills and experience of a Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive, you need to have experience with:

• Building rapport and engaging professionally with senior stakeholders

• A background in telesales, lead generation, or B2B sales

• Working towards targets in a high-performance sales environment

It would be beneficial to the Business Development Executive role if you also had:
